Greater Works Bible College and Theological Seminary exists to equip kingdom leaders for the “greater works” Jesus promised (John 14:12). We provide quality, affordable biblical education that prepares students to serve Christ, strengthen the Church, and reach the world.

Legal Status

Greater Works was founded by Dr. Angelene Brinkley and operates as an affiliate school of International College of Bible Theology (ICBT) and Midwest Seminary of Bible Theology (MSBT), a not-for-profit evangelical religious organization (est. 1990). Under this affiliation, religious/theological diplomas and degrees are authorized.

Accreditation (Disclosure)

Greater Works is an affiliate of International College of Bible Theology, which is accredited by a private, non-governmental agency and is not regionally accredited. That agency has not sought U.S. Department of Education recognition at this time, and acceptance of credits by other institutions is not guaranteed.

NOTICE OF EXEMPTION

Exemption Statement (North Carolina)

Degree programs of study offered by Greater Works Bible College and Theological Seminary have been declared exempt from the requirements for licensure, under provisions of North Carolina General Statutes Section (G.S.) 116-15 (d) for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education. Exemption from licensure is not based upon assessment of program quality under established licensing standards.

Student Complaints (North Carolina)

The State Authorization Unit of the University of North Carolina System Office serves as the official state entity to receive complaints concerning post-secondary institutions that are authorized to operate in North Carolina. If students are unable to resolve a complaint through the institution’s grievance procedures, they can review the Student Complaint Policy (PDF) and submit their complaint using the online complaint form at https://studentcomplaints.northcarolina.edu/form.
